Escape Artist

Weston and Dad like to get up early on Sunday morning while Mom sleeps in. This is a conversation between Weston and Dad that Mom overheard while snoozing in bed...

Weston: "Giggle, giggle, giggle..."

Dad: "Weston, No! NO! NO! STOP!!!!!!!"

Weston: "Giggle, giggle, giggle..."

Dad: "Weston, STOP!!!!!!!! No, no, no!"

This conversation left Mom a little worried so she hopped out of bed to find out what was going on! What was Weston doing?

He was escaping from his chair while Dad was in the shower. Needless to say Dad hopped out of the shower and put water all over the bathroom floor AND Weston to catch Weston as he fell out the bottom. Dad has now learned to fasten him in tight...

Ding, Ding, Ding!!!

That's the sound of the bell ladies and gentlemen! The fight has begun! Who is fighting? It is Mommy vs. Weston in a battle of sleep! This is the contested item.

Who should sleep here? Weston or no one? Mom says Weston...and Weston claims no one should have to sleep there by themselves! Weston has been sleeping in bed with his Mom and Dad for the past 2 months because Mom was too tired to fight. Now he is getting bigger and starting to move when he sleeps so Mom and Dad decided it was time to take their bed back!

Mom has won rounds 1 and 2 even though Weston put up a good fight with several hours of crying. Will Weston pull a come back? Or will Mom prevail for good? Stay tuned...

I Took a Trip!!!! Did you miss me?

Mom and I got to on an airplane to Missouri a couple of weeks ago to see Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Matt and Aunt Shari! I hadn't seen them since October so I was very excited to go!

This is me on the airplane...do I look worried? I wasn't...

When we got there, Aunt Shari picked us up. We had fun eating out and shopping.

Then I got a surprise...my Aunt Jenny with three of her kids--Morgan, Mason, and Kira! They flew in from Utah to surprise Grandma on her birthday.

This is me with Kira...

I brought some caramel apples with me to share with the family. Aunt Jenny decided to lick them all because she thought Uncle Matt wouldn't eat any after that and she would get them all. She was wrong...the apples are good even after someone else has licked them!

I bonded with Grandma. She fed me all the food Mom wouldn't. I had to wear my warmest clothes since it is a lot colder there than where I'm from!
