Visiting KC

Grandma and Grandpa had to work hard at entertaining me after the 3rd of July!! I think they did a pretty good job. The rest of our trip included:

A visit to Union Station with the Fox cousins!

Blake enjoyed watching the trains go round and round.
And we had a great time getting up close to the dinosaurs!!!

Ice cream with Grandpa after visiting his office. (I was really just collecting my legal fees as I had assisted him earlier with a matter at court. He was able to cut to the front of the line AND get an even lower reduced fine for his client thanks to my negotiating skills!!!)

We visited Grandma's Mom and Dad.
And Grandpa's Mom. (Yeah...I'm confused too.)
I kept everyone up late every night! One of these late nighters evolved into a pillow fight!!!!!

Blake got a taste of the good stuff. The proof is right there in the pictures that aunts can do whatever they want!!!
And Grandma found a train for me to ride. We rode it. And rode it. And rode it. SEVERAL times.

Ahhhhhhhhh!! Uncle Mattt!!!!!!!! Move out of the way...the train is going to hit you!!!!!!
"Uncle Rob" (Matt) was my good buddy this trip. I liked to wrestle with him and then "smash" him. Do we look fierce riding this giant crocodile?!

We also got ice cream, saw "Despicable Me", cleaned up the yard on the lawnmower, read books, did puzzles, and just relaxed and played!!!! Blake even learned to clap and play "Patty Cake".

And then we went home and slept. A lot!!!!! Until next time KC...

4th of July

Mom and I have decided that there is no place like Grandma/Grandpa's house for the 4th of July!!! So we packed up and took a "hairplane" to go visit! (And we sent Dad to Las Vegas to work.)

We made the annual pilgrimage to the fireworks "stand". Grandpa said I could pick anything I want!!

We ran to catch the parachutes. Thank you Uncle Matt for helping me!!!
And that seems to be all the pictures we have. We were having too much fun! We ate ribs, chicken, and ham plus Grandma's homemade ice cream! We saw friends and cousins. And most importantly...we saw FIREWORKS!!! And I got a little obsessed with them. I loved to watch them . For the rest of the trip, I asked when we were going to see more fireworks!

Blake also loved them. We went to our friend GR's house to watch them and Grandma accidentally covered Blake's eyes. He threw a fit!!! Then Blake was watching Grandpa's show very intensely and fell asleep. Who falls asleep during fireworks?!

Happy Birthday America! You are one of my favorite holidays.
