I've had a birthday, shout HOO-RAY!!!

My birthday festivities once again spanned multiple days. The first was a family + Spencer birthday party!

The super-hero themed party had a pinata...


Yes, we did give B a bat. But Dad kept him under control the whole time!

Sam's first pinata! He definitely liked it.

A Super Hero Squad puzzle contest and shoot the mini action figure bad guys with the dart gun game

And of course, a Captain America cake!



Who can forget Mom and Dad's special present...my favorite color!

After all the guests were gone and Mom and Dad were busy cleaning up, B had this great idea...to finish off the cake! I guess we were caught! They couldn't even get mad because don't we look cute together?!

Cousin Time!

Shari, Ally, and Brady came to visit for a day. We decided to hit the Jelly Belly factory!

While we were waiting inside for the tour to begin, we met Mr. Jelly Belly.

Then we realized we could reach him...
Sorry?! Does anyone believe that we didn't do it?!

For the tour we got to wear the cool hats and ride this train!

And we ended the tour at the free sample bar! I tried each and every green kind.

Then we Smurf'd it up. We only played musical chairs a couple times.

Discovering Art

Mom and Aunt Heather decided that it was time we start appreciating art. So we loaded up (with Grandma in tow!) and headed downtown to the art museum. It was a little crowded since it was "free day", but we had lots of fun!

Heather had made each of us our own little set of picture cards. It was like a treasure hunt looking for each of them!

We'll keep working on our "pretend to be the thing behind you" photography.

Lazy Summer Nights

Our normal bed time has been thrown out the window so we can enjoy the extended hours of summer! The neighbors have become a part of this evening routine.





We've seen lots of fireflies!


Sat on the porch enjoying the nice weather and popsicles.
And played lots of hopscotch

We've also given out countless popsicles, cups of water/lemonade, watermelon slices, band-aids, and bags of chips. Not to mention mom's cupcakes, cookies, and anything else delicious she made that the neighbor kids could see/smell in the house. Our grocery bill is thankful that there's only 1 week left until the neighborhood kids go back to school!!!!!!
