An Eating Demonstration

On the eve of Blake's birthday, he wanted me to share his "how-to" video on how to eat a yummy cupcake! The best part of the video comes at the end so stay tuned!

THE Museum

When we first moved to Chicago, we had a lot of fun exploring the city and all it had to offer. One of our discoveries was the children's museum. And we like it a lot. We like it so much we could live there!
Here's a sampling of our museum-visiting activities!

There's face painting...
A tree for puppets. (Usually they bite!)

Telephones where you talk to AND see the other person!

A house for dolls. We're only allowed to go in there with Tabby!

We were naturalists. Notice that Blake is eating the fake dirt!
We rowed the boat and went fishing!

Tabby was our nature guide.
I played doctor.

Tabby and I tried to escape in the get-away car.
Grandpa and Blake played in the baby section.
Tabby was your friendly check-out lady.
We all went through the car wash to get nice and clean.

We regularly mis-use the orange cones out front. (Thanks Buzz from Toy Story 2 for teaching us how to do this!)

We made ice cream!!!
Shake, shake shake. Is it ready yet?!

The sign said to put all animals back in the cage...

Blake certainly qualifies!!!
And we make delicious sandwiches. I was pretty crushed the first time we were there. I made a fabulous sandwich and sat down eager to eat it. I didn't realize it wasn't real!!!

The best part about our membership to THE museum is that we get into a lot of museums all over the country for free! Mom had decided that we are planning all vacations around cities that have children's museums! Does your city have one?

Blackmail Photos

I'm pretty sure Mom's going to bring these out when I'm 16 to show my dates.

In my defense, I only wore this to take out the trash. It was never actually worn in public!!!
