Mom finally trusted Santa with both of us boys. He didn't even drop Blake. I told Santa to tell the Mailman to bring me the Leakless Mack. We'll see if he can pass on a message!

The Magical Forest

Dad got free tickets to the Magical Forest this year when his work volunteered there. Mom and Dad used them to bribe me into taking cute family pictures. After being tortured by the camera, it was time to play!!!
There were pretty lights...
Sliding down a fake snow hill...
Riding the Choo Choo Train!

And posing with Frosty and some snow dog thing.

Maybe it was worth smiling for the pictures after all.

Reindeer Games

At our playgroup Christmas party we played "pin the nose on Rudolph". I LOVED it!!!

The Festive Cul-de-Sac

Our friends Caren and Kyle took us to see the magical Quiver Court...as seen on HGTV! This street had about 15 houses that had each chosen its own theme. They had even wrapped the electric boxes to look like presents! Wouldn't you love to live on this street?!

I'm into Tinkerbell these days...

Step 1: Steal Dad's jacket and zip it up.

Step 2: Feel very proud that I could do it all myself!

Step 3: Hold it close so Dad won't take it back. It's mine...all mine!!!!

Lights, Camera, Santa!

We got to see the red-suited man at the Ethel M Cactus Garden lighting ceremony. I sat on his lap very willingly once I discovered he handed out chocolate... I told him that I want cars. Lots and lots of Cars cars.

Blake wants some milk. And maybe some cookies to go with it!

Dear Blake,
I can no longer judge those other Moms who take thousands of pictures of their first child and zero of their second child. I've become one. Sorry about that...Don't hate me for it when you grow up!

Love,
Mom

Brotherly Love

Blake is very lucky to have a brother like me!

Every morning I go in to Mom's bed and lie next to Blake and talk to him (Even if he's asleep!) On this particular morning, I was still tired and fell back to sleep.

We Found It!

Mom and I were shopping at Kohl's one night when I was pleased to find two members of the street gang from Cars. (Editor's note...we were ACROSS THE STORE and his little hawk eyes spotted Boost and DJ. He then made a beeline for the toy shelf...) Sadly, there was no Wingo (who is my favorite!) All night I walked around showing off my two new cars, but told everyone in a sad little voice, "No Wingo." Apparently my plan worked. Mom felt sorry for me and so the next day we went to FOUR stores...but we finally found Wingo! I can now reenact the whole scene!

Blake's Halloween

Oh yeah...Blake got to celebrate Halloween too! He cuddled up to anyone who would hold him!

Next year I'll teach him how to get the candy!

Happy Halloween!

After several discussions, a few shopping trips, and last minute pressure to have a costume, I decided I wanted to be a Mummy this year. Mom and Dad told me I could use my favorite word..."Boo!" if I wore the costume!

I got to wear it 3 times....
At Trunk or Treat:

At Dad's Boo Bash for work:

The ghost of the factory. It's not every day a white-clad figure runs the hallways!

Showing off my strength!
The spook house! I loved it! It was full of people jumping at us, scary pictures on the wall, smoke, and scary music. We walked out the exit and I promply said, "More!" Grandpa--I'm ready to go Haunted Housing with you!

The obligatory M&M picture...

And for the real thing:
I'm going to be honest...I had already worn the costume a few times, I had already gotten candy, and I didn't take a good nap this day. All of these things added up to make me not so thrilled about trick-or-treating! Grammy helped me and Mia came with us! I hestitantly walked up to the door. They brought out the candy and told me I could pick two. Then they took the bowl away and I burst into tears because I wanted, "More!" So I got more.

Checking out the loot.
Caught eating sugar before bed!
Happy Halloween!!!!!

Getting in the mood...

Halloween is coming!

Mom and I made cookies...Mom is accepting the fact that black cat cookies may have 6 eyes and 4 noses when I help her.

Dad's work decorated for the holiday. Can you guess whose idea it was to put the Jason mask on the pinata?

Pumpkin Guts

Remember that pumpkin that I picked out at the pumpkin patch? Well, Mom and Dad tried to CUT IT OPEN!!!! After some severe protesting by me, Dad went and bought another one to use. Do you know what's inside the pumpkin?! Dad pulled out that first handful of gunk and I gave a nice "Ewwwww..." and moved several steps away. Luckily Dad handled that part of the pumpkin!

This is my "You're going to do what?!" face

I drew the pattern on the pumpkin. Triangle eyes, oval nose, and a toothy grin!

I attempted to carve it myself. The little toothpick tool thing they gave me didn't really work...
So I let Dad use his sharper tools to help.
The family with the finished product.

Attacking Dad

Pillow fight!!! Can you guess who won?

Grandma Time!

Along with Grandpa came Grandma! She got to stay for a week and a half. That gave us lots of time to play! We went back to the duck pond, we watched Cars together, we went to the grocery store and I talked her into lots of things that Mom never buys..., we went the apple orchard/pumpkin farm, and she brought me a new Cars blanket!

Here is our outing to the produce farm. Grandma carried me through the apple trees looking for fruit. We finally found one!

I got to pick out my own little pumpkin. Mom has to keep reminding me that it's not a ball and I can't throw it!

In addition to entertaining me, Grandma also cooked, cleaned, made freezer meals, did laundry, and held Blake. She was so helpful and fun that we are all wondering when she can come back. Maybe after she takes a vacation?!
