It's a Boy! (Part II)

It's official. I'm a big brother! Blake joined our family on Saturday. He now shares a birthday with Dad!

Here are some of his first pictures:

He's very mellow and quiet. The nurse tried to play "Can I make him cry?" Blake won every time with his silence.

7 lbs, 9 oz and 21 inches long

The nurse was having a great time playing with his hair!
But let's be honest...nobody was as excited to meet the baby as I was! I was VERY upset the first night when I had to leave Mom and Blake at the hospital. Then the next day, when the parents had promised I could take him home, the NURSE came and took him away for some tests! It's a good thing she brought him back...

At last we packed him up in his carseat and brought him home.
Mom and Dad are VERY lucky to have me around to help them out with the baby! I get to help burp, change, and entertain the baby. Apparently I'm not allowed to pick him up. I'm still learning the rules. Overall, we are all healthy and happy to be home. Stay tuned for our adventures with this new baby!
