3rd of July

Because Grandpa has totally ruined 3rd/4th of July celebrations for us by putting on the BEST fireworks show, we packed up and headed to MO for a week! 3rd of July started in the usual fashion...preparing food, cleaning house, and shopping at the fireworks tent (sorry about the red glow...)!

"This is taller than I am! Can we get it Grandpa, please???"

"Alright! I'll put it in my basket!"

 

 And then we had all sorts of fun setting off the fireworks!!

 It takes a lot to set up the night show. Lots of tubes...

 And lots of helpers unwrapping and organizing.

Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day all weekend long! Toys R Us had a superhero lego event that we attended. I made a superman symber and B made Batman.

 Opening presents is always a good time in our house...

 Especially when the wrappings become toys!

 Happy Father's Day to a thoughtful, fun, and very involved Dad!

Preschool Graduation, Part 1

As with all preschool classes, mine ended with a graduation! On the big day, Miss Martyna greeted me at the door and helped me find my seat!

 Mom and Dad kept little B VERY entertained with loads of sugar through all the songs, games, and speeches!

Dad made sure that I knew this is the only diploma that comes with a frisbee and sand pail.

 Miss Martyna gushed on and on about how cute and nice I was to work with. She emphasized that I was shy and unsure at the beginning of preschool, but by the end, I was very social and often invited fellow classmates to play with me. She also mentioned that I'm willing to try anything!

 After the graduation, we celebrated with preschool friends at the park.

One more preschool graduation (part 2!) and then it's on to kindergarten!

Spring Soccer

 Mom and Dad signed us up for a new adventure...SOCCER!!! Eight weeks of Saturdays taken up. Outside in the COLD and HEAT. Lots of yelling and coaching from the sidelines. But it was all worth it!

 Please notice my tongue. It helps me concentrate better!

Argument with Spiderman

Mom: Don't climb the fence.

B: Why?

Mom: You might fall and that would hurt.

B: But I'm Spiderman!!! Spiderman doesn't fall.

Mom: You're still not allowed to climb the fence.

Little B has been really into superheroes lately and often will only answer to Ironman, Spiderman, or Superman. Apparently Spiderman does sleep sometimes!

New Arrival

Meet the  newest member of our family...

It certainly is Mom's baby.

Dad keeps saying Happy 30th Birthday! And Mother's Day, Anniversary, Easter, etc...............how many holidays can he get out of this?
